The App Store builds record a meeting without a bot, transcribe it on the device, and list its decisions and action items with a link from each one to the transcript line behind it. Command-B on a Mac, or Mark moment on iPhone and iPad, bookmarks a moment while the meeting runs. Every meeting exports as a cited-minutes PDF with evidence quotes and the full line-labelled transcript. Each recording is staged for recovery before transcription, and the app works from the keyboard and with VoiceOver.

Nobody new joins your meeting.

On a Mac, Silo Meet listens to your microphone and to the call audio playing through the Mac. On iPhone and iPad it records the room. There is no calendar bot, no extra name in the participant list, and the audio is never uploaded anywhere.

Owners you can trace to a line.

With Apple Intelligence on macOS 26, iOS 26 or iPadOS 26, the summary is written on the device. Anywhere else, a rule-based engine pulls decisions and action items out of the transcript itself, and Silo Meet tells you which one will run before you record. On a Mac, an optional Bring Your Own Key mode, off until you turn it on, instead sends transcript text and the meeting title directly from your Mac to the provider you configure. Each decision and action item links to the line it came from; one that line does not back up is dropped. Those checks read English phrasing, so decisions and action items come from meetings held in English.

Ask what was decided.

Search every transcript you have recorded or imported, or ask a question and get an answer drawn from the matching transcript lines, with each source one click from its meeting. There is no account, and nothing is synced. Your questions and the matching lines leave the device only if you turn on Bring Your Own Key in the Mac app.

What it does.

Bot-free call capture.

Press Command-R on a Mac to record your microphone and, with Screen Recording permission, the other side of the call. Without that permission Silo Meet records your microphone only and says so. On iPhone and iPad, it records the room.

Bring a call you saved.

Import Recording (Command-Shift-I on a Mac, or from Files on iPhone and iPad) takes an audio file or the sound of an mp4 or mov video, up to two hours long. Every sound track is mixed in, so a screen recording that keeps each side of the call on its own track keeps both voices.

Owners from names you give.

Before you record or import, type the names you expect to hear. Owners come from those names or from role words such as team, board or client; Silo Meet never turns a capitalized word into a person.

Meeting recipes.

Pick and order the fields your minutes need: overview, key points, decisions, action items, risks and blockers, open questions, commitments, deadlines. Preview a recipe on a saved meeting first. Editing saves a new revision, older meetings keep theirs, and anything you type into a commitment or deadline is marked as added by you.

Speech stays on the device.

Apple Speech transcribes on the device once on-device Dictation is installed, and Silo Meet checks for it before recording. On a Mac you can instead download one of two optional speech models inside the app, only after you agree, and remove it later in Settings.

Your own key, if you want one.

On a Mac, Bring Your Own Key stays off until you confirm its notice. Once on, the transcripts you summarize and the lines matched by your chat questions go to the provider you picked, under your key. Transcription never leaves the Mac, and iPhone and iPad make no network connections at all.

Bookmark live. Export the evidence.

Press Command-B on a Mac or tap Mark moment on iPhone and iPad without interrupting anyone, label the moment if you like, and after transcription it jumps to the exact or nearest line. Command-E exports one cited-minutes PDF with recipe fields, decisions, action items, owners, line and timestamp citations, evidence quotes, bookmarks, the engine used and the complete line-labelled transcript. Plain text, Markdown and a JSON meeting package sit on the same export menu.
