Record the session.
Draft the note on your Mac.
A chart-note workstation for licensed clinicians and therapists. Turn a recorded session into an editable SOAP, DAP, BIRP, or intake draft, then check it line by line against the transcript before it goes anywhere. No PHI leaves your Mac.
The Mac App Store build records only after you click Record, transcribes and drafts on your Mac, and offers SOAP, DAP, BIRP, and intake notes. Linked evidence marks each drafted sentence supported, inferred, or unsupported and plays the audio behind it. Every note stays an unverified draft until you mark it verified, and exports to Word, PDF, Markdown, or plain text state whether you did. Private dot phrases, custom note structures, and a fictional sample session are included.
Keep the note.
Keep it private.
Cloud scribes such as Abridge process session audio on their own servers and are typically sold as recurring subscriptions. Silo Scribe takes the other path: every step runs on the Mac you already own, one purchase covers every note format, and the draft shows you which of its sentences the transcript actually supports.
No cloud scribe. None.
Recording, transcription, speaker labels, and note drafting all happen on your Mac. Transcription uses Apple's built-in speech recognition with nothing to download, or an optional local speech model of about 1 GB. Structured drafts come from an optional local note model of about 3.6 GB. Every download asks first (a speaker-labeling model you already approved can be fetched again without a second prompt), and Settings can remove each one again.
PHI never leaves your Mac.
No account, cloud service, analytics, or telemetry, and the app sends no crash reports over the network. The note-drafting helper talks to the app over a Unix-domain socket, which is IPC on your Mac rather than a network service. Session audio, transcripts, and notes stay inside the app's sandbox container. No third party ever holds your patients' words, because nothing is sent to one.
A documentation tool, not a device.
Silo Scribe does not diagnose, does not recommend treatment, does not make automated risk assertions, and does not assign CPT or ICD codes. It drafts a note from the session you recorded. You check it, declare how it was authored, and mark it verified. Clinical judgment and authorship stay with you.
Record. Transcribe. Draft.
One click to
capture the session.
Recording starts only when you click Record, stays visibly active, and stops when you say so. No notetaker bot joins, nothing uploads, and the audio is kept in the app's sandbox container on your Mac, so the moments a note rests on can be played back later.

Correct the transcript
before you draft.
Apple's built-in speech recognition transcribes the session on your Mac, or you can choose the optional local speech model. Speaker labels arrive as an estimate for you to confirm: rename or reassign a speaker, fix a misheard line, and give Apple's recognizer your drug names and abbreviations before a single line of the note is drafted.

Every sentence,
checked against the session.
Pick SOAP, DAP, BIRP, or intake and the optional local note model drafts a structured note from the transcript. Each sentence is marked supported, inferred, or unsupported; open one to see the lines behind it and hear that stretch of the recording. Edit what needs editing, declare how the note was authored, mark it verified, and export it to Word, PDF, Markdown, or plain text.

One note, end to end.
A fictional sample session.
Try the whole flow before you record anyone. The built-in sample is clearly fictional, holds no patient data, and lets you walk the transcript, evidence, verify, and export steps from the first launch.
Linked evidence.
Each sentence in a draft is marked supported, inferred, or unsupported against the session transcript. Open a sentence to read the transcript lines it rests on and play the recorded audio for those exact moments.
Your wording, your structure.
Draft SOAP, DAP, BIRP, or intake notes. Private dot phrases insert your own wording into the section you choose. Custom note structures use your headings and starter text, and applying one replaces the unverified draft only after you confirm. Neither is ever passed to the note model.
Transcripts you can correct.
Speaker labels are an estimate you confirm. Fix any line, rename or reassign a speaker, and merge fragments. Add drug names, abbreviations, and local terms so Apple's speech recognition hears them; the optional local speech model does not take a custom vocabulary.
Search every session.
Search across every patient's sessions at once, or ask within one patient's history and get back the matching transcript lines, each with its speaker and session date.
Into the chart.
Export to Word (.docx), PDF, Markdown, or plain text in a folder you choose. Each file states whether the note was verified and how it was authored, ready to paste into your EHR.
Encrypted at rest.
Note bodies, dot phrases, and custom structures are sealed with AES-GCM under a key held in your Mac's Keychain. Transcript text sits in a local search index inside the app sandbox so search can read it.
Downloads you choose.
Higher-accuracy speaker labeling is a small optional download, and turning it off deletes it. Without the note model, Silo Scribe places the verbatim transcript in the note for you to summarize and labels it an extractive draft.
Concrete claims,
no asterisks.
One purchase. Every note stays yours.
Silo Scribe is a single $29.99 purchase with unlimited local note drafting. Every note format, dot phrase, and structure tool comes with it; there is no subscription and nothing to unlock later.

Silo Scribe is a one-time Mac App Store purchase for clinicians and therapists who would rather not send PHI to a cloud scribe. Record, correct, draft, check, verify, and export on the Mac you already own.
