Local AI
music
that stays local.
Generate music from a prompt and compare your takes on Mac or iPad. On Mac, master a copy and export it with the recipe behind it. No server, no account.
On Mac, choose Load Demo Project on the welcome screen to play a take, master a copy, compare it with the original in Take Lab and export it before you download any model. Ohm Studio generates with ACE-Step after a one-time download you approve, trains local adapters, and adds local production tools: Take Lab comparison of two to four takes, mastering with up to eight EQ bands, editable AutoEQ suggestions and optional compression and repair, and 24-bit WAV or FLAC export with tags and a production recipe. On the qualified 14-inch M3 Max MacBook Pro (November 2023) with 36 GB memory, H3 and optional Music3 join ACE-Step. H3 supports 10 to 180 second songs and produces stereo 32 kHz WAV after a consent-gated 32.44 GB download. Music3 accepts a requested maximum of 10 to 180 seconds, may finish earlier, and produces stereo 44.1 kHz WAV after a 13.87 GB download. Both let you queue seed variations. Full H3 songs can take hours and times vary; progress and cancellation stay available. ACE-Step remains available for reference audio, adapters and training. H3 and Music3 add no training, adapters or iPad features. On iPad, Ohm Studio generates instrumental music with ACE-Step, exports 48 kHz WAV and compares takes in Take Lab. On both, library tracks can sync to the included Track Player AUv3 extension for playback in a compatible host.
Privacy is a creative
tool too.
Silo Systems builds infrastructure for people who would rather not negotiate with their own software. Ohm Studio is the same discipline applied to making music: a studio that makes its music on the machine you already own.
Your music stays local.
Generation runs on your Mac or iPad. Mastering, export, analysis and training run on your Mac, and so does the Song Brief prompt assistant. Optional cloud lyrics require your own provider key and explicit opt-in.
No Silo account or telemetry.
Silo Systems collects no prompts, audio, datasets or usage telemetry. Local projects stay on your device. If you enable cloud lyrics, only the text you submit goes directly to the provider you choose.
Know the model you use.
Ohm Studio charges no per-render fee. Model terms are disclosed during setup; ACE-Step, H3 and Music3 have different terms. Use lyrics, recordings and other source material you have permission to use.
Make. Compare. Finish.
ACE-Step 1.5,
running where you are.
ACE-Step runs locally on Mac with prompts, lyrics and imported reference audio, and on iPad for instrumental generation. On the qualified M3 Max / 36 GB Mac, H3 adds prompt-and-lyrics generation and optional Music3 adds another local engine. Each model installs only after its download size and terms are disclosed; generation runs locally with visible progress and cancellation.

Train an adapter
on your own catalogue.
Drop a folder of audio into the Dataset tab and configure an ACE-Step LoRA or LoKR training job on your Mac. Watch the loss curve. Cancel, pause, resume, delete; the job drawer is real. Trained adapters export as .ohmlora files. Bring them to another Mac without re-running the job.

Try the offline-first LoRA training simulator below. Set the hyperparameters (rank, alpha, learning rate), choose a dataset, and start the job to watch the loss curve converge.

Master a copy,
keep the original.
Compare two to four takes in Take Lab from one shared playhead, then master the keeper on your Mac: up to eight EQ bands, editable AutoEQ suggestions, optional compression, declipping and high-frequency repair, and loudness and true-peak targets you check against the measured result. The master is saved as a separate take. Export 24-bit WAV or FLAC with tags, and a production ZIP carries the recipe, prompt text and checksums.

Eight tracks of capability.
Text-to-music generation.
ACE-Step runs locally on Mac and iPad, with lyrics and imported reference audio on Mac. On the qualified M3 Max / 36 GB Mac, H3 and optional Music3 add two more local engines.
Take Lab comparison.
Audition two to four takes from one shared playhead. Optional RMS matching only turns louder takes down and never boosts a quiet one. Recall a take's recipe or promote the keeper.
Master a copy.
On Mac: up to eight EQ bands, editable AutoEQ suggestions, optional compression, declipping and high-frequency repair, with loudness and true-peak targets checked against the measured result.
Export with the recipe.
On Mac: 24-bit WAV or FLAC at the native rate, 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz, with title, artist and album tags. A production ZIP adds the production JSON, prompt text and file checksums.
Key and BPM you can check.
On Mac: detected key and tempo with a confidence score and Camelot notation. Low-confidence keys read Undetermined, corrections live in Ohm Studio's library, and a CSV export changes no audio.
LoRA & LoKR training.
Train ACE-Step adapters on your own dataset on your Mac. Follow the loss curve, pause or resume a job, and move adapters between Macs as .ohmlora files.
Lyrics and Song Brief.
Write structured lyrics and set genre, mood, tempo, voice, language and structure in a local Song Brief. Optional Bring Your Own Key cloud lyrics run only after you enable them; there is no automatic cloud fallback.
Stems, as one tool.
Split audio into vocals, drums, bass and other stems on your Mac after a small model download you approve. For dedicated stem work, Ohm Split is the Silo app built for it.

Questions.
No. After you approve and complete model setup, Ohm Studio works offline. Generation and Take Lab run on supported Mac and iPad hardware; mastering, export, training, key and BPM analysis, and stem separation stay on your Apple Silicon Mac. There is no hosted inference server or account. Optional cloud lyrics need a connection only if you turn them on.
Yes, on Mac. Choose Load Demo Project on the welcome screen to open a demo with a playable take. Play it, master a separate copy, compare it with the original in Take Lab and export it, all before any model download.
ACE-Step on Mac and iPad. On the 14-inch M3 Max MacBook Pro (November 2023) with 36 GB memory, the Mac app adds H3 and optional Music3. ACE-Step remains the engine for reference audio, adapters and training; H3 and Music3 add no training, adapters or iPad features.
Use the terms of the model you selected. Ohm Studio shows model licenses during setup and requires first-use acceptance for H3 and Music3. Your source lyrics, recordings and reference material also need appropriate permissions.
The Mac studio requires macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon. The touch-first iPad generation workflow requires iPadOS 17 or later and supported high-memory Apple Silicon hardware; model setup shows the exact device-fit result before download.
Ohm Studio generates music on your device after model setup. Silo Systems has no hosted inference service or account. Cloud lyrics are a separate, optional feature using your own provider key; music generation and training remain local.
Yes, on Mac with ACE-Step. Ohm Studio includes LoRA and LoKR fine-tuning. Drop a folder of audio into the Dataset tab, configure your hyperparameters, and train a custom adapter entirely on-device. Trained adapters export as .ohmlora files you can share or move between Macs.
Yes, as one tool among many on Mac. After a small model download you approve, it splits audio into vocals, drums, bass and other stems on your Mac. If stem splitting is the main job, Ohm Split is the Silo app built for it.
Silo Systems receives no usage telemetry or content from Ohm Studio. Music generation, datasets, and generated audio stay on your device. Optional cloud lyrics send the text you choose directly to your selected provider after you enable that feature; they are off by default.
