OhmsGrid · on-deviceOhmsGrid is a clip launcher first. Six demo pads play before anything downloads, and you launch clips and scenes from the screen or a pad controller. New clips are written on your own Mac or iPad after a one-time download you approve, so no audio leaves your device and there are no credits or subscription.
Yes. OhmsGrid includes profiles for Novation Launchpad X, Launchpad Mini MK3 and Launchpad Pro MK3, Ableton Push 2 and Push 3, and Akai APC mini mk2 and APC40 mkII, and shows each clip's state on the pad lights. The profiles have not yet been checked on physical hardware, so lights or buttons may differ on your unit. Other note-based grids can launch clips through a generic 8×8 layout you turn on in MIDI settings, without pad lights.
No. OhmsGrid is a one-time $19.99 App Store purchase that covers Mac and iPad, with no clip credits.
Only for the one-time clip-generation download: about 10.1 GB on Mac or 6.0 GB on iPad, approved by you and checked before first use. The demo pads, audio import, mixing, arranging and export work without it, and after it clip generation works offline too.
Keep your work on your Mac.
